Racquets

Racquets at Concord Country Club are a central part of daily Club life, bringing together tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball in an environment that is both active and welcoming. Whether stepping onto the court for competition, instruction, or casual play, members enjoy a program designed to accommodate all ages and abilities—encouraging participation, development, and a genuine enjoyment of the game.

Across each discipline, the experience is defined as much by its social energy as by the play itself. Leagues, clinics, and informal matches create regular opportunities for members to connect, while seasonal transitions between sports keep the program dynamic and engaging throughout the year. The courts serve as a natural gathering place—where friendships are formed and the rhythm of Club life continues beyond the game.

Junior programming further strengthens this culture, introducing younger members to racquet sports in a supportive and structured setting. Through instruction, camps, and organized play, juniors build confidence, develop skills, and become part of the broader Concord community. At every level, racquets at Concord offer an experience that is active, inclusive, and deeply connected to the life of the Club.

Concord Racquet Courts:
  • Six tennis courts, one is a hard court and five are Har-Tru (clay) courts, three of which have lights for nighttime play
  • Four lighted paddle courts immediately adjacent to the Pavilion and an additional ‘grand deck’ for viewing and hosting various events, like our popular Friday Night in-house paddle league social
  • Four permanent pickleball courts, which have lights for nighttime play
  • Pavilion and viewing decks
All three racquet sports are available to members year-round, weather permitting. We have an online reservation system on the Concord website for easy signup for court usage, clinics, and events.

An Active Tradition. A Welcoming Culture.

Tennis at Concord Country Club is a vibrant and well-established part of Club life, offering a program that balances competition, instruction, and social play in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Whether stepping onto the court for a match, a clinic, or a casual hit, members of all ages and abilities will find opportunities to engage with the game in a way that fits their level and interest.

Led by an experienced Racquets Professional team, the program provides a full range of instruction and organized play, from beginner fundamentals to competitive leagues and events. Clinics, round robins, and team play create a consistent rhythm of activity, while maintaining a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that encourages participation. The focus remains on developing skills, fostering confidence, and creating an experience that members look forward to being a part of.

Beyond the play itself, tennis at Concord serves as a natural social hub within the Club. The courts are a place where members connect, friendships are formed, and the energy of the program extends well beyond the baseline. Junior programming further strengthens this culture, introducing younger players to the game through structured instruction and on-court experience, helping to build both ability and a lasting connection to tennis.

A Winter Tradition. A Social Game.

Platform Tennis at Concord Country Club brings energy and activity to the Club throughout the winter months, offering a uniquely social and engaging racquets experience.

Played outdoors on heated courts, paddle combines competition and camaraderie in a setting that is both spirited and welcoming. Whether participating in organized matches or enjoying a casual game among friends, members are drawn to the game for its accessibility, pace, and strong sense of community.

Led by the Racquets Professional team, the program includes instruction, clinics, and organized play for all levels. From those new to the game to experienced players seeking competitive opportunities, paddle at Concord provides a structure that encourages participation while maintaining a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Beyond the court, paddle serves as a natural gathering point during the winter season. Matches often extend into time spent together off the court, reinforcing the social fabric of the Club and creating a lively and connected environment even in the colder months.

Energetic. Social. Easy to Enjoy.

Pickleball at Concord Country Club offers a fun, fast-paced racquets experience that is both accessible and engaging for players of all ages and abilities. Whether new to the game or a regular on the court, members are drawn to pickleball for its approachable nature, lively pace, and strong social appeal.

The program is designed to encourage participation, with opportunities for casual play, organized matches, and instructional clinics. Members can easily step onto the court, learn the fundamentals, and quickly become part of the game—making pickleball one of the most welcoming entry points into racquets at the Club.

As with all racquet sports at Concord, the experience extends beyond the court. Pickleball brings members together in a relaxed and energetic setting, creating opportunities to connect, compete, and enjoy time at the Club in a more informal and social environment.
